Winter squash season is finally here.
We’re looking forward to cool mornings, sweaters, and so many soups. Many of the squash are still curing to improve their taste and storability but we have some beautiful acorn, spaghetti, and delicata on the online store this week.
This week the fall cover crops are being planted to keep the soil covered over winter. This reduces erosion and compaction and improves overall soil health. And, the first of the sweet potatoes will be harvested and squeezed into the curing chamber along with the squash.

Garlic Update
Bulk garlic is sold out! Thank you to those who purchased it. We will do our best to grow more for next year.
We did set some aside for decorative garlic bundles with dried flowers. They’re perfect as a hosting gift or kitchen wall decoration. The first batch is on the online store. Each one has four to five bulbs of garlic and is a mix of music and purple stripe. If you would like a larger, custom braid/centrepiece please contact us to order one.
Winter Squash
We will be adding more squash to the store each week as it comes out of the field and is cured. This week we have acorn, spaghetti and delicata.
