Good food belongs to everyone in our community.
Every week our fields feed neighbours across South Grenville — through the food bank, not around it. Your support puts fresh, locally grown vegetables directly onto the tables of families who need them most.
A farm and a food bank, growing together
Heartbeet Farm has partnered with the South Grenville Food Bank to close a simple but stubborn gap: emergency food support is plentiful in shelf-stable staples, and scarce in fresh produce. Vegetables are the first thing to run out and the hardest thing to replace.
So we grow for them on purpose. Dedicated rows in our fields are planted, tended, and harvested specifically for food bank distribution — carrots, beets, potatoes, squash, greens, and whatever else the season gives us. Harvest goes from soil to shelf within a day.
It's a partnership built on neighbours knowing neighbours. No middlemen, no long-haul trucks, no waste.
Heartbeet Farm
We plant, grow, and harvest dedicated produce rows, then deliver fresh each week during the growing season.

A registered charity distributing food to families across the region — and issuing tax receipts for every eligible gift.
How your donation works
Donations are made directly to the South Grenville Food Bank through CanadaHelps. Heartbeet Farm never handles the funds — we handle the vegetables.
You give securely
Choose a one-time or monthly amount through CanadaHelps, Canada's largest charitable giving platform. Your payment is processed securely and goes straight to the food bank.
We plant and harvest
Funds cover seed, soil amendments, irrigation, and the labour to bring dedicated rows to harvest. Every dollar stretches further because the growing happens here.
Neighbours eat well
Fresh produce is delivered weekly through the season and distributed to households across South Grenville — no application fees, no barriers, no questions.
Every gift is tax-deductible
The South Grenville Food Bank is a registered Canadian charity. Donations of $20 or more receive an official tax receipt, issued automatically by CanadaHelps and emailed to you the moment your gift is processed. Monthly donors receive a consolidated receipt each February.
