Eligibility

This sweepstake is open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Heartbeet Farm and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

Sweepstake Period

The sweepstake begins on Monday, February 19th, 2024, at 9 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) and ends on Sunday, February 25th, 2024, at 3 PM EST (“Sweepstake Period”).

How to Enter

Participants can enter the sweepstake in the following ways:

Sign Up for a CSA Share

Automatically receive one entry by signing up for a 2024 CSA share with Heartbeet Farm. If you have already signed up for a 2024 share before the sweepstake period, you will receive one automatic entry.

Refer a Friend

Refer a friend to sign up for a CSA share. To count as an entry, either the referrer or the new customer must send an email to farmers@heartbeetfarm.ca indicating the person who referred them.

Social Media Engagement

Share one of Heartbeet Farm’s stories or posts on Facebook or Instagram, or make a post about being part of the Heartbeet Farm community and tag us (@heartbeet_farm). Each action counts as one entry.

Participants are limited to a maximum of three entries. For an alternative method of entry, email your full name and phone number to farmers@heartbeetfarm.ca. This method allows for only one entry per person.

Prizes

First Prize

“Perfectly Good Food” book.

Second Prize

Winter vegetable basket valued at $40, including cabbage, carrots, beets, potatoes, squash, and garlic.

Third Prize

$50 credit to the Heartbeet Farm online store, valid for seasonal vegetables purchased between July and December 2024.

Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected through a draw on February 25th, 2024. The draw will be conducted in three rounds, with each round selecting a winner for one of the prizes. Once a participant wins, they cannot win another prize. Winners will be notified by the end of the day on February 25th, 2024. Prizes must be claimed by May 1st, 2024, except the store credit, which must be used by December 31st, 2024.

General Terms

Participants’ names and entries will not be used for promotional purposes.This sweepstake is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
